Brianna Helton

My name is Brianna Helton. I currently teach 5th and 6th grades at CACC. I graduated from East Tennessee State University in 2005 with my Bachelor's of Science in Education and I am a certified teacher. I have three years teaching experience at Tennessee Technological University and one year in Anderson County school system. I am currently in the beginning stages of starting my Master's at Liberty University. My husband, Eric, and I are high school sweethearts and I have been with him through his entire ministry. We have been married eight wonderful years and have served nine years in youth ministry. He is currently the Associate/Youth Pastor at First Baptist Church LaFollette. We have three gorgeous boys, Isaac, Luke and Elijah. When all is said and done, all I have in this life is Jesus, my husband and the children that God has blessed me with. I began my relationship with Christ when I was nine years old and I haven't looked back since. I am head over heels in love with my Savior. I know that I know that I know He was and is and is to come.As I diligently seek His will for all areas of my life, I know this will spill over into the lives of my students. Where I was and where I am now testifies and glorifies God. I believe in children and view them as being capable and deeply desire to see God's will for their life carried out. I have fallen in love with teaching at CACC. I have never been a part of such an honorable group of coworkers. This school truly has character and a firm foundation.

I truly enjoy being a servant to my husband and children. They are my first purpose. I enjoy reading when I get the chance, hiking, scrap booking, watching movies, and running. Helping my husband with our youth group helps me stay young and too cool for myself. My passion and my calling is discipling young girls and pointing them to a God that "fearfully and wonderfully made them" (Psalm 139:14). Opening the word of God and teaching young girls how to use that sword is my happy place! I have an early childhood education degree but quickly realized that I had missed my calling when I started teaching 5th and 6th grades! I LOVE my job and the students I teach. CACC is truly my favorite job!!!
