About CACC

MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Christian Academy of Campbell County is to provide a Christ centered education to children, equipping them spiritually, academically and physically for today and eternity.

OUR PURPOSE

CACC was established in 1993 and is committed to offering a distinctively Christian and academically challenging education beginning with preschool and continuing through the eighth grade. It is the responsibility of staff members to diligently seek to instill the time honored values of not only faith in God but also love of family, patriotism, respect for authority and hard work. The school seeks to work with parents in helping to fullfill the God given mandate of training up children in the way they should go and to bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. (Proverbs 22:6; Ephesians 6:4)

STATEMENT OF PHILOSOPHY AND OBJECTIVES

CACC believes the Bible to be the divinely inspired Word of God, inerrant in its original manuscripts. We accept the traditional principals of Christianity outlined in the Bible as the standard for daily living. As Christ is the cornerstone of the church, we believe that he is also the cornerstone of the educational process.

For the spiritual and moral growth of students, CACC seeks:

  • To teach the essential doctrines of the Christian faith
  • To lead the pupils into a personal, saving relationship with Christ as Lord and Savior
  • To develop a desire to know and to do the will of God
  • To develop a Biblical sense of right and wrong
  • To foster self-discipline in the student, based on respect for and reverence toward God and authority
  • To help pupils develop a consistent Christian philosophy of life by integrating all subjects with the Bible

Academically, CACC endeavors:

  • To promote high academic standards
  • To help each pupil gain a comprehensive command of the fundamental processes used in communicating with others (i.e. speaking, listening, writing and reading)
  • To show the order of the universe by teaching students the constants found in mathematics
  • To teach the students how to use the scientific method in research as a means of problem solving
  • To foster an appreciation of our Christian and American heritage of human dignity which leads to good citizenship
  • To impart knowledge of the world and current events relative to God's plan for men

We adopt the Biblical position that the education of children is primarily the responsibility of the parents. Given the complexity of modern society, however, we recognize that the diverse gifts of our teachers and programs at CACC may promote a more comprehensive and balanced educational experience than may be achieved exclusively at home. CACC is, therefore, considered to be an extension of the Christian home and a place for enhancing the spiritual, academic, social and physical development of its students. CACC always welcomes constructive parental involvement in the classrooms and extracurricular activities.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

CACC believes:

  • The Bible to be the inspired, authoritative, inerrant Word of God (II Timothy 3:15; II Peter 1:21)
  • That there is one God, eternally existent in three persons - Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:1; Matthew 28:19; John 10:30)
  • In the deity of Christ (John 10:33); His virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:35); His sinless life (Hebrews 4:15; 7:26); His miracles (John 2:11); His vicarious and atoning death (I Corinthians 15:3; Ephesians 1:7; Hebrews 2:9); His resurrection (John 11:25; I Corinthians 15:4); His ascention to the right hand of the Father (Mark 16:19); His personal return in power and in glory (Acts 1:11; Revelations 19:11)
  • In the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature, and that men are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ and that only by God's grace through faith alone we are saved (John 3:16-21; John 5:24; Romans 5:8-9; Titus 3:5)
  • In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation (John 5:28-29)
  • In the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose dwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life (Romans 8:13-14; I Corinthians 3:16; 6:19-20; Ephesians 4:30; 5:18)
